Canadian DJ and producer Simon Doty announces his debut album ‘Universal Language’. The ten-track LP will be released on Anjunadeep on the 28th of April 2023, the first single ‘Soulflow’ (feat. Ursula Rucker) is out today.

Collaborating with American spoken word artist Ursula Rucker, ‘Soulflow’ pays homage to Simon’s signature house-influenced sound which has gained him praise from the likes of Adam Bayer, Adriatique, Gorgon City and Hot Since 82. Leading with Ursula’s thought provoking vocals, Simon blends staccato chords with a driving bass in his latest offering.

A favourite on the label, Simon first debuted on Anjunadeep in 2019 with his track ‘Sama’ and has since put out five stand out EPs on the label, including ‘Hometown EP’ and ‘Living Sound EP’ and most recently, his collaborative cut ‘Touch The Sky’ with Marsh, which have collectively gained over 3 million streams and radio support from the likes of Pete Tong, Danny Howard and Sarah Story at BBC Radio 1.
